I recently returned from one of my most exciting adventures! I do not know if it beats out trips to Africa for top of the list. However, it proffered so many experiences in one vacation, my long overdue, interrupted by Covid Alaskan cruise. Though it was cold, standing on the ship’s balcony or awakening to see a mountain up close was worth it. The glaciers, waterfalls, whale watching and especially the dogsledding is what you do not get to see in the flatlands of Florida. It was all quite a memorable experience. My husband and I sandwiched the cruise by kicking off the trip by adding on a few days in Seattle, Washington and wrapped it up in Canada. It was fantastically breathtaking! The only change I would make is additional days in Seattle. It was lovely with so much to offer.
